Ok, I love cool collections just as everyone else.. but why do you guys always post pictures with such a bad resolution? 10mp or so would be way better to actually see something.
Other than that, nice collection. I like the 10 green pixels in the middle. :P
I’m not really a collector.
I try to rationalise all my purchases and if I can’t I just don’t buy it. If you don’t give in to temptation then your paypal balance won’t suffer. Unless of course you’re easily influenced :o
I try to only buy flashlights for practical reasons, but I admit I bought my HID just to ogle at the beam and insane brightness. But it makes me hate my LED torches now.
Im not collector type of person
I savour them for a while and after that its not important whats happen to them (I can sell them, give them etc).
Its the same with all things :o
I collect flashlights to use. I have a couple of ‘vintage’ ones, and they actually work, but I get no thrill out of using them or watching them collect dust on the shelf.
I buy stuff that makes me go “wow” when I turn it on in the dark.
I am not a collector. I do have more lights than I need and it may look like a collection to some people but they are just lights I bought in the search for the perfect one.
I never understood the desire to have dozens of the same type of light. Every light I buy is different from the last. My “collection” and interest evolves. Right now I am into 18650, penlights and 1-AAA lights. When I first started, I had Surefires with CR-123s that cost $100-300. Now I have a $5.00 ThruNite Ti that is brighter on 10440 than my old high dollar SF. In 10 years we will have keychain lights that outshine our most powerful 1AA lights.
