Needed - Good quality techies case

i guys, just wondering if any of you have a decent techies case, I have tried everything from large multi tray fishing tackle boxes, cheap aluminium cases like camera cases with the tool insert and soft tool bag types and bifold steel toolboxes. I can’t say any of them have been ideal. Maybe I am expecting too much from them.

What I really need is one or two cases that will hold my kit in a way that makes things easy to find, ie not just a bag to chuck stuff on top of everything else.

One would be a sturdy case for tools, screwdrivers, pliers and cutters, small socket sets, misc tools, soldering kit including several irons, small vice and accessories, selection of lubricants.

If it could be managed, but probably unlikely, ideally it would have room for half a dozen or so smaller individual compartment boxes containing various plugs, connectors and spare battery cells for P.A. system work as well as spare guitar/bass strings etc. I’m probably stuck with a second case for these items. One of the larger aluminium kit cases may do if I cant find an all in one.

Any thought would be appreciated. What do you use, and do you find it perfectly suitable?

Thanks for your time, be blessed, Ian

I currently use a bunch of these that my Ace Hardware sells for 6 dollars.

However for organizing smaller things I prefer to use fishing tackle boxes.

Thanks Scaru. I have some like that, I get sick of always having to dig for the tools I want. They are ALWAYS on the bottom under everything else.

I ended up with One Of These. from a local tool supply, got a good deal on it.

And One of These and For Of These only a size smaller , that just fit perfectly in the tote.

That should organise all my most needed tools and bits.

Now I just need some way to pack and store all my leads, cables and stands, seems it never ends!
