Me too. Not as solid as Gladiator, but smaller (when retracted = easier to carry) and lighter (= faster to swing) & solid enough (= makes damage). My favorite baton light at the moment!
I’m interested again, then, and amazed it can extend from 32.5mm to 415mm.
Is it sturdy enough not to bend or break if a strong adult male hit something like an attacking bear or moose at full force with it?
Also, couldn’t it be passed off officially as a backup flashlight rather than a weapon if one were questioned by the PoPo?
EDIT: Seems to be a lot of room inside this light for mods, another plus.
Since I doubt any cop would believe it’s just a flashlight, might as well just carry a baton. I’m surprised these places don’t carry traditional telescoping batons.
For the price, I like the portability factor, so ordered one. Besides, this will go well with my other dual purpose light, which doubles as a hiking stick.
Thanks to ouchyfoot & the for the firsthand feedback, & to furythings for the extra savings.
I wonder if it has that sickly yellow coated lens like the Fasttech version. If not, it’s a great deal. In fact, it’s probably still a great deal even if you have to spend 94 cents for a new lens.
There were reportedly 1.75a and 2.5a versions (according to reports at CPF) of the F12. Unless the 950lm rating is wildly exaggerated, I take it this is the 2.5 amp driver version?
Well, my P1A order went from back ordered, back to processing and my P1C order has made the full status round trip twice and is now back to back ordered status.
It’s like they’re schizophrenic or something: “We have it in stock. No we don’t. Yes we do. No we don’t.”
