A first look at the BLF/Kronos Limited Edition X6/X5 SS & Cu Boxd Set

Awesome review! Can’t wait to get mine already!!!

I have to say that I will be a Team Kronos consumer for life. What a beautiful set of groundbreaking lights.

I can't wait to get off of work tomorrow, rush home and see what DHL has left me. Thanks for the show and thanks to all who input the time, effort and imagination into this Team Kronos' project.

Wonderful review! Looks like a really nice set! Can't wait for mine!

Is that the actual interface for these lights??? That is different than the UI for the A6. I thought I heard the updated firmware wasn’t installed? Is there firmware above this one? This one is fantastic!

Blessed be thy DHL courier... please deliver unto me this ridiculously beautiful pair of flashlights post haste.

Yup. It’s identical to the final Bistro version that didn’t make it into production in time EXCEPT for a bit of fine tuning to the voltage measurement feature that corrected the 1/10v error in measurement.

Superb!!!

Wow. Awesome.

Beautiful pictures. Lots of important information for readers to absorb.

And here’s some output readings from Dale, for those who may have missed them:

Just got notified mine will be here tomorrow! Talk about FAST! YEA!

Time for yet another MtnE order for cells! Sweet set, glad it arrived safe and sound.

Really? He was getting between 1400 & 1500 in the prototype samples, IIRC. Tomorrow night I’ll set up my IS and see what numbers I get. In the mean time, I’ll change the numbers in the OP.

I think Dale's sample numbers were after just doing a spring bypass.

My prayers have been answered! I received the same notification.

2 day shipping if they make it by the estimated day. Freakin' DHL YEAH!

Oh, you lucky guy. This light is absolutely strong and beautiful.

Even if my three sets were sent out, it will probably take a few more weeks to arrive in Switzerland.
But anticipation is half the fun.

About one thing I am particularly pleased:

I was, thank God, there in time.

Curious about beamshots!! ;-)
