CBR900 - "an ugly, heavy, dangerous way of going extremely fast." The CB900 was worse. Several people I knew died piloting those things.
Look up the Used Motorcycle Guide. Not sure if it still online. I have run a Kawasaki 750 2 stroke triple. 3mpg on a good day. And it cost more in spark plugs than gasoline (petrol where i come from).
Used to run a CBR1000 with forks from a Montesa motocrosser. That thing was about as high as a bus.
:D true enough. I can prolly buy the world's largest ever light collection several times over if sell my car. A track day costs 500-1000 at least around here, so about a light per lap, if you don't crash....
I thought about getting a motorcycle when I lived around napa valley which had about the best driving roads and weather anywhere (better than monaco), but alas it was not to be; and probably for the better at the end of the day since I have a bad habit of pushing to the limit and occasionally over.
I have a 2009 Subaru wrx. Tons of fun! Especially with our canadian winters! But the gf and going back to college are more priority for me now so flashlights are a less expensive hobby for now:)
I can see where this therad is going. Next, there will be beamshots from bikes and cars. :D
Just kidding, im a motorcycle enhusiast myself and will gladly spend more on lights than on cars. Not really interested in cars. Would love a comfortable and reliable car the most. The rest is really not needed with mileage i do even the AC is often turned off (and where i live the summers are quite hot but the humidity is very high (70+%) you can barely breathe at times). Egypt was very relaxing at 40+ degrees (10% humidity?) celsius compared to 30-33 with 70+% humidity.
Slovenia (between Austria and Italy) land of the ever(over)jelous people. The national saying is: May the neighbor cow die... Basicly since the fall of comunism people started to get way into materialism and find great happiness in other's disgrace. I believe we got this state of mind from Italy but powered it to new unseen levels. This is true for roughly 60% of the population. 2 million total. Yes, you read that correctly it is really that few with a unique language hard to learn properly. On the bright side we have some exquisite locations and a wonderfull climate. I live less than a km away of the adriatic sea and i'm very happy i live there. The sea is truly an eye and mind blessing to have around.
The land of the free and home of the brave (ie. foolhardy). Also, west side represent.
