I have the ability to 3D print custom centering rings if you have the measurements you need. Or I can send you the CAD files and you can print it locally if you have access to a printer. A lot of libraries are getting them now and sometimes someone on Craigslist will offer the service.
It has saved me SOOO much headache since I starting printing my own rings.
OK, good deal.
Because I will be “unable” to limit myself to only one host, plus I have to make sure I have enough spare parts, etc., etc. :person_facepalming: … :money_mouth_face:
Hmmmmm, may have to get a loan anyway.
Since Jaxman makes the production model available with XHP50, anyone know if an XHP70 would work in this? Could it be driven hard enough to handle the heat? Or what would be the disadvantage to XHP70 in this?
Took the liberty to pm all those on the original interest list.
Hmm the threading of the zooming part is very nice ans tight, yet comparing the heatpath of a Convoy L6 or TF S70 with t and the Z1 is not designed to take away massive amounts of heat.
The L6 and S70 do get hot so I imagine running a Z1 XHP70 while pushing the emitters very hard could not be the wisest of things to do for a long period of time.
But as most hotrods do not run for extensive periods a XHP70 Z1 gives one a wow factor light and heavy blast for sure and on a lower then hard driven mode I imagine also an useful zoomie. But others may chime in here
Now having trouble making the host parts page work
The ” color ” box doesn’t change when you try to choose
The site is really frustrating Jaxman
Does anybody else get the parts page to work?
I see the “parts link” ( Jaxman Parts ) is ‘alive’ again also.
EDIT / As far as the “site being really frustrating”………. maybe it is not the site that is having the “problem”. Personally, it is one of the easiest to use sites I have ever used. I’m not trying to pick on you, but just because you seem to be having a problem please do not automatically blame the site or tell Jaxman about it from the start. Let’s deal with things like this without “drama” or this ‘buy opportunity’ will be a “dead duck” again.
If you want more then one thing
Select it -> add to cart -> continue shopping -> select different part -> and so on.
If you want more of the same item in cart you can set a number.
Not having problems here.
Well except from the occasional switch if language (click “global site” top right corner in that cade)
Still have the same issue using that link
I don’t have any problems with other sites on Ali and had the same issue with the z1 page, I’m certainly not a computer person but the fact that jaxmans z1 pages don’t work or sometimes work if I do a search instead of using the link tells me the Jaxman site is wonky, this is not drama it’s what it is
I understand that if it does not work for you, that is not drama. But if you are the only person it does not work for then it is highly unlikely the site is “wonky”, as you put it. Otherwise it seems someone else would have the same problem.
Beachlogger, please see if the links below work for you. I have just checked and they both work fine for me. Hopefully a few others will check them out also.
Hey All, I can verify that the site does not work properly on Safari, Chrome, or Firefox browsers on an iPad. I just duplicated the same issue Beachlogger reported in all three.
Oddly enough, I was having difficulty with a different vendor’s AliExpress page earlier today with Firefox browser on a Mac. I switched to Safari and all was well.
Beachlogger, if you don’t have access to a computer, you can use the AliExpress app from the App Store. Works fine with that.
After installing, search for “Jaxman BLF” to find the item.
