ThruNite TN31

I still want this light. Not as bad as some has stated on the drop-down.

Great Review!!! That baby can throw!!!!

ILF are you getting the 7g5 apheric to compare to the dbs?

I told Rick about that one. I doubt it. I have the first version 7G5 now. I have had some issues with Crelant that seems like the light wants to act up on the modes.

My first one acted up and now this wone did some funny stuff the other nite. I took the tailcap apart and it seems to be normal again. It did it on Xtar and Trustfire flame batteries. Right now I'm not a very big fan of Crelant.

Hi ILIKEFLASHLIGHTS,

I think you deserve a special flashaholic award. Didn't you just buy a TK70? And you're still interested in a TN31? This soon? I'm just not in your league, sir.

I don't suppose that means you want to sell the TK70 does it? Nah, I've seen your flashlight cabinet. You're a collector :).

Oh, I was thinking of getting a 7g5 instead of a TN31. I thought they might be fairly similar. So you're not happy with the Crelant?

Best Wishes,

Daniel

Well I might do some trading if you have a TN31.

Hah! You made me laugh! Yeah, those TN31s are still way overpriced. There are several large lights like that whose prices are puzzling. They're just a bit lighter/smaller than the TK70 and not that far behind in throw, but for some reason they cost way more. Especially since the Fenix is easy to get for $190 - $200. I've even seen for $165. Sure new lights are always going to be more, but it's still a bit hard to spend more for a lesser light. Thanks for the laugh and for getting me thinking about TK70s again.

Actually a TN31 will probably out throw a TK70.

I want the TN30, and 31, but you're right. They're expensive. Perhaps more than they should be.

May I suggest two Jacob A60 in tandem that will give you almost 120 kcd for $33 total and without any battery balancing?

Joking, of course (....... but am I really? Hey, I have those two!) Undecided
