Hi Ric - two questions. current at highest level, and can you tell how many levels between off and high?

Does this mean you can go Daving at 100 metres?
About the random brightness ...
I much prefer constant brightness .

Hmmm… that is interesting. How about a group buy? I’m wondering if that head would fit any of my other lights?

Interesting light. However, I would like to see a review before joining a group buy.

It would be nice to see a 26650 battery in a single battery dive light as well as an optic to narrow the focus at bit of the XM-L.

I tried to count the levels and think that there are 7 of them: 0.25 - 1.50A
There is also some parasitic drain of 0.06A when off => tailcap lock-out need to be used.

good info, thanks. The d06 has 20+ (firefly to 2.45A)
but you could buy ~three of these for the same cost so 7 levels seems about right
