I have a few questions about the replacement lenses that are available from solarforce
What are the different colors used for? I think green would be used for hunting, but I don’t have a clue what the other colors are for. Does anyone know? And are lenses coated with anything special or are the just plain glass? Thanks!
Red is for preserving night vision. Blue makes blood stand out and green is used for hunting (some say it disturbs the animals less than white light).
I don’t know what that orange? lens is for (fog?).
The ones from Solarforce are not glass. At least they don’t feel like glass, or sound like glass, to me. They’re some sort of heat resistant plastic I think.
Where would you get some that are glass and that will fit a Solarforce L2m or L2t?
Not sure where you’d find any coloured glass lenses to be honest. I can say that the Solarforce ones work well enough though.

Amber is for fog/dust.
I too, am not a big fan of most plastic lenses but all things considered, these work well. I would also like to find a source for quality glass lenses. Generally, they are more efficient.
