Axis lock knives on ebay that aren’t Benchmade may be hard to come by in the future.
I ordered an Enlan EL02b which has an axis lock. It was ordered last week via ebay. It has been shipped already and yet I received an email from ebay today telling me that the item had been pulled by ebay from ebay. It was a “buy it now” kind of a thing so it wasn’t just the one that I paid for.
I then contacted the seller just to make sure that my item was actually shipped and was assured that it was. They said they they were having to pull the rest of their knives (of that model) due to a “request” from Benchmade for patent infringement (or something to that effect).
I assume this won’t affect knives from Exduct but it may cut down on the convenience of ordering some knives from ebay.
Just a heads-up for anyone interested in this type of knive.
No, the specific place that was affected on ebay that I was using goes by the name DoingOutdoor…Chinese obviously. They have been pretty fast and communications have been good as well.
I prefer them as well. I just wanted to try a couple of axis lock knives. I have one and I wanted to get a larger knife with one to see if it was easier to operate.
Frame lock is my preference when the handle material is such that both sides can look the same otherwise a good liner lock is fine with me.
How do you safely order from “jackyhu” using a CC? Paypal wants the bank transfer? Having never dealt with the company, I need the protection of paying with a CC.
You don’t have to use the bank transfer with PayPal. That is the default. I always change it to credit card when I order something so you should have no problem.
