I like to buy flashlights by the dozens and give them out.
I paid 10 bucks for 80 lights today. (I do extensive research to find the best deal.)

If he is a German that would explain a lot. They tend to be weird. It only gets worse when a German tries to be funny. It just makes everyone uncomfortable. I once watched a German movie that was supposed to be a comedy, everyone felt like they were being lightly molested having to watch Germans trying to be funny.
Well it's kind of a tradition around here when you get a new flashlight. And don't forget to laugh like a little kid.
