Not Budget - but opinions on this light.

Looking at this light possibly looking for input / can I get something more budget friendly with similar specs ?

Garry had a recent post on here w/ one that was off of ebay and about $25 IIRC. Search it out.

It looks like many of the other triple led flashlights out there (###Fire and Skyray) and so do the accessories.
The only way I would order from them is if they offer some type of free replacement guarantee for several years!

I heard my name mentioned! You talking about this one? Be sure to see posts 11 & 23. If you are looking for a more "professional" solution, look at the Led Lenser at comment 23. I'd also suggest the Fenix HP11.

Isn’t this this Trustfire TR-3T6? Certainly looks identical to mine. Geesh, they’re only selling it for $198, that’s only like almost 5 times more than I paid. Bargain!

Seriously, I would do some more research before buying from these guys.

Its great, I think you wont find nothin near this quality and functionality in budget segment.

I’m waiting for this to arrive

Should have it in about 7 days.

First learned about it from this post.

If you notice, ILF picked his up for $25.00 at that time
The price has dropped to $18.99, ( 1 day left on sale, goes back up to $19.99 ) same seller, free shipping

Thats really interesting. But is it safe to have 2X18650 on your head???

Also, it sseems that it “protrudes” from the persons’s head little to much. ;aybe its just for walking or conditions withut to much vibrations, because I dont think its stable like that, such big flashlight, it would go up and down whole time, heavily, while running, cycling offroad etc.

I want one that has half of the flashlight on the front of my head and the other half sticking out the back of my head . Like a arrow!!

Good point.
But I’m not too concerned, it’s wired in parallel, it’s moderately driven, and I’m going to use high quality protected Panasonic’s.
As far as the light protruding, the light that millerman was contemplating could run across the same problems you mentioned because it doesn’t have the battery pack counterweight in the back.
I should also point out that I’m not sure about the battery pack supplied with the light.
Is it a proprietary battery, if it is, how much to replace, how’s the quality, and is it protected.
A couple of forum members purchased the light I ordered and seem to be satisfied.
I decided to go with it based on their recommendations and because it’s reasonably priced.

I too am waiting for the same one as makapuu. It should be here in the next week or so I hope. Most cheap lights I have bought on ebay have been worth the money and then some.
