Here it’s illegal too but i think it could pass the customers (from China it’s much better for that). It’s a beautiful piece, i like very much. But could close due to its lock system (no framelock, no axis, no…)?.
It’s a knife for piercing more than for cutting, i’m scared about if it can close on the fingers if you pierce something hard with force.
It’s just a novelty for me. I may still try to get it. If it makes it through customs/postal system to my house I”m not worried about it being illegal to possess.
It’s not leaving my house and I’m not inviting a cop into my house to show-off my knife so it should be OK.
1) No double edge.
2) No automatic or centrifugal opener.
3) 11cm max blade for folders.
4) Finally the police can do that he wants due to place etc, it’s not the same a folder on the field than in the city etc…
Wish I had one of these for my collection, even though they are highly illegal here.
It would likely slip past, but even just possessing it in a secure enclosure would still be trouble if it were ever found. The local paper would be all over it with how a prohibited weapon was found and how the community is suddenly safe from all evil.
I’m also super paranoid of the blade inadvertently opening at the most inappropriate moment and stabbing me. It probably is highly unlikely, but the thought concerns me too much. I suppose banning it saves people like me from overthinking what could mechanically go wrong
I ordered one. I hope it makes it through customs with no issues. This may be my last knife for a while as I have more than enough at this point. This would be an interesting knife to end on.
