Protected 14500 beside DX

Hey guys, anyone know where I can buy protected 14500 cells beside DX? Long story short, I ordered those flames one 4 weeks ago and it's still sitting on order received. Cheers.

Took slightly more than 2 weeks including Christmas & New Year. Both of them (it's a pack with 2 batts) were good. I'm using them right now.

Be carefull with the FAKE flame ones which are selling. I can say that the DX ones are original TF flames. I have seen fake ones in other vendors... I dont know if manafont or lightake ones are original

The KD ones are not the "flame" ones. Also Dx price = 5,34 USD (cheaper). I have not found another place where the 14500 TF flames are cheaper than DX.... Could exist another site?

As Sashix said, Lightake price is very good. If you take 2 pairs, the price is $5.05, and with 5% discount (code "flashlight"), you can get it for $4.80

If they work okay, then they are not the knockoffs which are amazingly bad.

He only ask for dealers that are selling protected batteries. KD does.

Cheap does not always means "best".

Cheers all. That's the issue, I have no idea which vendor would sell those highly rated 14500 besides DX. Been looking around but mostly points back to the flame ones of DX.

About 10440: LT has trustfire blue unprotected ones in a pack of 4 for 6,02 dollars (i dont remember exactly). I purchased one pack of 4 and 1 of them was completely DOA. Only 3 batteries remain (for the info)

DX has them for 4,23$ ultrafire unprotected (2x), 4,70$ultrafire gray protected (2x), 5,03$ Ultrafire blue protected (2x) and 5,08$ TrustFire protected (2x)

Hey guys, finally got my 14500 from lighttake after they sent the wrong item and now one of the cell is a dud. It's measuring 3.82 on one of them and the other is 0.00. Crap. DX seems like the only place to get them now.

try charging the 0.00 one. Its the protection circuit. Two of mine did that (from dx too) but they came good.

Perhaps the PCB citcuit kicks in on that one reading 0 V. Such cells are usually ok after recharging.

Thanks it works...whew...anyway what should 100% be at?

e.g. 4.2v = 100% for 18650

If I am not wrong, only DX has the original and good TF flames, both 14500 and 18650.....

If reads 0 volts, can be the battery itself is dead, or more common, the protection has "kicked in"

Try to recharge, if doesnt help, remove the pcb and test the voltage, if voltage = 0 then battery is dead
