I must come clean

It just feels too deceitful. The monkey see, monkey do post is my granddaughter. I called her for help getting a pic through. Before I knew it she had found BLF & logged on (man, she is fast). She put the pic there from photo bucket. I opened accounts with PB, Tinypic & just could not get it working (I did gouge my eyes out trying). She is coming over soon & show her granpa how to do this. The monkey pic & lights were her choice LOL. Hope I didn’t break any protocol. It seemed harmless at the time. You folks are good sports.

No harm no foul. Finally -- a real female BLF member that has even been verified as female by her grandfather.

Confirmed female. Didn’t think of it like that. She called me back later & told me she was reading for about an hour. She had heard me mention BLF more then a few times & wanted to see what it was about. While I was talking she found BLF and signed on. It must have taken her 30 sec. I thought it was uncanny how she picked the monkey pic since BLF is often referred to as the ‘monkey house’. As I stated, she is coming over & help me get the pic posting thing sorted out. I worked at it pretty hard but I think it may be a java? problem or some such that I’m overlooking. She will get it sorted out. She has a 3 year old & works so it may be a few (or more) days. Yeah, I was gonna let this ride for a couple days but it just felt ‘weird’. She is starting to check out my lights (she even borrowed one) more & more so who knows? A female flashoholic? Is there such a creature? I think it is strictly a little boy thing HeHe

This could be the beginning of some kind of bond, connection or just something new in common between grandfather and granddaughter. And who knows, it just might trickle down to your great-grand children. There's definitely nothing wrong with that. Good for you Keith!

Thanks for the good thoughts! her little boy (3) is more interested in my tackle box. From 75/85 I was a fishingfool 8) & collected a pretty nice box of assorted lures that the little guy has claimed for his own. They had been put away for about 25 years. His dad fishes a lot & takes the boy often so I dug them out & soon as he walks through the door he says ‘tackle box’ & will look at them almost the whole time he is here (what a joy). I’m gonna let him take them home when he is about 5/6. I always used them from a boat & I am concerned his dad will shore fish on the Detroit river & lose them before the boy is old enough to use them. My GD gets a kick out of me & my lights.

Must make fire ...

Some day I will quit all this hunting and gathering and I'll get a Sunwayman

Well, I'm glad someone is going to teach you how to do it. :D I'm looking forward to seeing you SE-1.

That’s why I’m going through all this trouble so I can post a pic of the SE-1 clip. I have the pic loaded on my comp. The GD should be over by the weekend.
