Romisen RC-29 rebuild?

It’s tanked. I’ve stripped it out just to see all the bits, but hate to discard the shell.
I know it’s only a $15 light, but…
Is there a way to bring it back to life as a first ever crack at mod/rebuild?
Easy on me - I’m wet behind the ears.

Depends on what you broke. :)

Pics would help.

Maybe this already helps you:

German website, but google translate works pretty good on that.

Thanks for reply NightCrawl.
I’ve pulled out the emitter and the board, so it’s basically a host.
(Have I said that correctly?)

Thanks for the link - I’ll have a closer look

Well, if you wrecked driver and LED, you have a lot of options. Sadly, almost any option will cost more than this light is worth.

I figured that would be the case, but also thought it may be a chance to have a crack at something I haven’t done before.

my Romisen runs only on 14500's. no more Eneloops. hehe.

Sure. Maybe a Nichia High CRI or an XPG2 if you dont have one. XML is also possible. Decision between LiIon and regular AAs.. or maybe both.
