Gotta hate customs

So my package has been lost in transit for almost three weeks now and nobody will help me. Since oct.22 my package has been in new york from hong kong. WTF….$130 that I havent seen since I spent it on the 11th of Oct. Customs customs……

I doubt there is anything I can do. I called the PO and nothin. She said all i could was wait, meanwhile my other orders from the same place show up. One of which was placed a week later. The split of the main order showed up like 3weeks ago………….and shipped six days after the first….

At least it is likely to get to you eventually.

The postal carriers in Chicago may or may not make the effort to deliver it.  There was a postal carrier who retired a few years ago, and they found something like fifteen huge bags of undelivered mail in his house.

"It was just too much work to get it all out," he said.

Jerks.

A friend of mine owns an auction house in Chicago. More than one he has mailed over 10,000 catalogs a month before the auction, only to have them arrive at his customers a month after the auction. Something tells me the Chicago post office contracts with the Italian post office for service improvements.

As Chicago say’s, at least your parcels will probably eventually arrive.

Receiving parcels containing folding knives sent from countries outside the UK is becoming more and more problematic (even those that are perfectly legal to own here and are widely sold by UK retailers).

I’ve had two parcels containing 5 knives seized in the last 10 days alone – I’ll never receive these parcels !

Must be wonderful living in a country that treats its citizens as responsible adults and accords them the freedom to make their own considered judgements !

BTW something in the region of between 92 and 95% of knife crime is committed using bog standard kitchen knives and the like.

Make sure you use your Paypal or credit card protection in case you dont receive your package in coming week ;)!

It takes 3-7 days for postal office and customs to deliver package to my doors when it has arrived at my city(capital, so there are no re-routings between cities over here, it gets direct from abroad without going through different cities within my country).

There was Hurricane Sandy.  Surely it's had an impact on an already slow customs port.

The low mode should be lower.

Where is the country that you speak of? Because where I live you can’t even get yourself a large soda.

Don't be confused, my Username has been changed from "Cone" to "T.H.Cone".  I'm still the same clown.
