Ultrafire UF-H3 constantly ramping from high to low. Defective?

Just today got my UF-H3 from Tmart. It powers on but ramps from high to low endlessly. Any ideas short of just sending it back?

Never mind. I just noticed the tail switch was very very loose. I screwed it in and it works fine now.
