ok guys i have a hd 2010 flash light and i love it but is there one that is one or two steps up from it for about the same price i like the spill and throw of the hd but was wanting something just a bit better i know its not going to be the same price but around there
would also like it to use 26650s
not sure right now about another light around the same price, using same battery. Depending on the specific HD 2010 on *HI* it's probably an overdriven XM-L. And cost you ~$31 - $41, which will be hard to beat on those terms alone.
one option would be to actually get the same light and drop in a Cree XP-G2. You'll drop in over all output (lumens), but throw will increase (lux). If beam distance is your goal.

There’s not a great many 26650 throwers about at any price. Do you want single cell or multi cell?
Can you solder? Do some assembly?
