That when you got the light out of the package and took one look and you hated it? You didn’t like the build, finish, design extra and you couldn’t wait to find away to rid yourself of that POS? Well, I’m eating crow on that green sipik sk68 that I bought from tmart. Yeah, its ugly. Its about the quality of those led lights you get in a gas station cashier counter. You can grade cheese on the sharp edges of the cooling fins, but ever since I got this thing, I just can’t put it down. Its my toto gunk draw light for whenever I need to go into the backyard. Weirdest of all is that I’m now drawn into the die patterned hotspots. Crazy. Well, at least Im man enough to own up to it. I’m beginning to see why people are mesmerized by this little light now.
I ordered a 2,35$ light from dinodirect and it was crap, not even 1% of rated lumen so I put a 14500 in it and it burned, but had still not enough lumens. Everything on this were just garbage.
I got money back after sending customer service some pictures, lol a picture of a internal broken flashlight, these are funny.
But I put the switch on a headlamp which had parasitic drain and crap driver.
Glad you like the sk68 now. Join the club.
As for me, it was the SR King. First time I saw it, first thing that came out was “WTF was that”? It was quite a leap in looks department. Slowly little by little though, it grew on me, with reviews after reviews pouring in I finally made the plunge. Boy am I glad I did, it’s a phenomenal light both by design and build.
I understand what you’re saying about the Sipik (though I gave away my colored ones). Swap an XM-L into that thing and send your love-hate relationship into overdrive!
oh man… i just bought 2 of those (red and blue) last month… i bought it for the colors actually, not for the light output 
i just want some colors to add to my collections intead the usual black

now i kind of regreted having 3 of those… 
Yes, with my TN31…. I bought this one on the words of several members. I got it. It wasnt working right. I took out the battery carrier cleaned it up, tighten it up… The carrier is a bit tight with the new protected XStar batteries. But it’s bright and smaller than my other lights. So its really growin on me.
