Before christmas I purchased a 5x bundle of thrunite Ti for $35USD but when I checked the price to order more they have come back saying the minimum is $60USD. Can anyone explain why there would be such a big price increase in a few months? I had a quick browse and noticed a Ti2 available now, wouldn’t this drop the price of the originals not increase it?
I’ve had some requests for these but might take the time to look for other options.
It might be currency/exchange-related?

Have other lights jumped in price that much in the same time? I understand the USD is sinking but i didn’t think it was that bad just yet.

I just noticed they want $294 for Tn31 and T10 combo. Now that is insane. They can be had at less than half of that price sometime last year.

I'm pretty sure that $35 for 5 was a promotional price to help Thrunite launch its online store. Now the prices are back to normal.
Yes, I think that Thrunite ran very low promotional prices for quite some time. They still have good offers from time to time, so it’s worth keeping an eye on their online shop, and their eBay shop (where sometimes you might pick up cheap lights at auction).
Also worth registering on their new Forum, where they run Auctions and Group buys from time to time.
Oh, and BLF member JOE has some good deals on Thrunite lights too - worth pm’ing him.
I remember Thrunite were selling Ti’s really cheap on Ebay and in their store but the reports of customers getting the wrong colour put me off from buying one.
