I just had a very embarrassing experience.
I got this light in the mail, but don’t recall buying it.
I have a feeling that I got it for free for signing up for a shopping website, but I’m also nervous that this might be a bait and switch tactic, as seem with the unbelievable $30 eBay HID scam.

Its cute. Looks like a little total internal reflection lens, though the emitter looks like a standard 5mm which won’t have very much output. More like 10 lumens best case.
Modding is likely a bad idea. This thing has a built in tiny li-ion rechargable battery which is not very strong, and won’t support much amperage.
If you assume 20 milliamps@3.7v = 70 milliWatts on the LED, and it gives 150 minutes of juice, that’s um…. 50 mAh battery.
Shoving an XP-E and running at 0.1 amps will hit the 2C limit of the battery and give rather disappointing output… plus it will last a whopping 25 minutes.
Mine came in a nice red color so my wife nabbed it, she also grabbed the tiny police light that they sent me. She uses it to look at her nails when she has them done with sparkly glitter polish. Although for at home use she has my Xiaozhi it’s the neutral tint one and she likes that best, she says it makes her nails look like they do when she is outside. I’m also missing a SK68 clone and I bet if I were to look I would find that in her purse as well. Although if she is outside at night walking her rabbits then she takes the Sky Ray King. yes we have rabbits and her pet ones get walked around outside with little harnesses on them. My rabbits? Different story.

These lights are awesome, I was going to write a review up, but I’m waiting cause I just ordered another 4 (I bought 3 initially, sight unseen), and I will take one apart for the review.
I saw them randomly on ebay when I was looking for cheap disposable lights for my dad because he loses them ALL THE TIME… including my ultrafire torches too…

As you can see they are only $2.40 INCLUDING POSTAGE. When I got my first three, I got a mix of pink, blue, and green torches. I gave away two, and kept one for myself.
As you can see, it is a great little size, with half the size being used up by the USB adapter.
The torch puts out a surprising amount of light for what must be a tiny battery. It’s certainly not a power house, but it’s a perfect around the house/keychain torch. It’s perfect for going to the bathroom at night, actually its so bright when its pitch black usually I move my fingers over the light so it cuts off most of the light. It has spills out the side plastic of the torch, illuminating the torch which ever colour it is, ie, mine is green, and it shines green when turned on.
The twist switch feels pretty reliable.
I don’t know what kind of LED it uses, or battery, but will pull one apart.
To charge it, just plug it into a computer. It has a red LED to indicate it is charging. I will run one dead then charge it for the review.
Must say I love this little torch, it truly is a budget light worth of the budget light forum!
I have piles of USB Mimi Torches. I bought them in bulk for cheap from AliExpress… I give them away. Women really like them, especially the colors. They work great and come in handy.
I have two sat on my desk(red and blue ones), I really like the USB charging bit, can plug in car stereo occasionally to keep topped up, first thing I thought about was modding, I recently bought two USB lights in error from DX thinking they had a internal battery but they don’t which is a real shame as they are super bright, did think about that led in the USB light in this feature, will likely give it a try, even with short run time this is plenty enough for me.

i’ve just orderd a few jsut to leave around the house /car/ office for just incase moments
My cat loves them too. I set it to flashing, and toss it on the floor. He goes nuts playing with it. Eventually, I find it under the fridge. I just plug it back in and charge it up again.

There’s a thread somewhere around here where a couple people dissected theirs. If I recall correctly, charging circuitry varies from workable down through outright dangerous.
Problem is you can’t tell which without opening it up.
they make them that is also a micro sd card reader, i had one as a keychain for a long time, i kept a micro sd card in it so i always had a flashlight and a flashdrive on me, and it was waterproof and rechargeable….i believe these are all rechargable and waterproof…
i actually found one that was also a compass and instead of a strobe and a regular light, its a purple light, and a regular light… same style flashlight…

I would bet it has a small 110-130mAh remote control bag battery in it w/ some sort of charging circuitry
