While the other ones are brighter, they either have PWM or aren’t pocketable enough… and are bluish.

$11 will get you two. 18650 very small no ring, nice smooth zoom.

I got a $20 SRK, does that count?

The “I won’t throw a fit if my boy loses the flashlight” flashlight is the same one in post #4.

For about USD$10 including trustfire(flames) 18650 battery - it’s a great off-duty walkaround light for my military-serving boy. I am sure there’s more than a few lights out there that will also serve the same purpose. But I bought a few of these, just in case.

Arrgh, over $11 and sold out. :frowning:

I have to say this light from fasttech is not bad

I put an XML2 T6 3C on a Sinkpad in mine. Very nice NW light now.

IMO, best zoomer you can get at any price.

I’ve been really impressed by the Black Shadow .Little AAA key chain light. It’s just over the price point, but if you can get it with a coupon…only barely.

i got a 1 aaa tomtop light for 1.99 thats pretty decent… its about 10-15 lumen
and of course the ultra ok single mode sk68 for $5 on ebay

link? :stuck_out_tongue:

These fauxton keyring lights are great value.

You’d have to run a 16340, once fasttech has the 18650 hosts back in stock, you could still build an xm-l edc and fall under the $11 limit.

My fav is my $9 Ultrafire C8 - small enough to go in my pocket at work but bright enough to inspect the undercarriage of cars even in opposing backlight.

actual otf lumens is closer to 350-375, but still, its decently driven and has enough cooling to actually use it as a handy pocket light without cooking your hand.

I find it quite durable and value for money…

My favorite ultralow budget (2.45$ shipped) AAA light is this one:

It’s a compact twisty with shitty but working clip, nice design (in my opinion) and relatively good output (outshines all other low price lights from this budget class). Around 10-15lm output, nice “throw” but with rings (since very symmetrical they don’t bother me). NW tint.
