I kept a thread about alternate OSes in my subscriptions as a reminder to someday look into it, but the number of unreads posts went from 50 down to 3, but not all at once, i saw 19, 12 and 3 (or something like that) over a number of days

I would never be so inefficient, over a month to read less then 50 posts
Is it cookies maybe? I think I’ve noticed something similar. If I come back to the site but still don’t read it, I think the unread posts changes.
