Solar light for house numbers

I hope this is the right forum… I want to find a solar spotlight for my house numbers. The original low voltage wiring has a short in the attic. The location of the light gets full sun but is below the eve of my one story house. So it either needs to mount in the ground a few feet away from the wall or hang from the gutter. I see numerous options online and it is hard to know if there is a gem amongst the crowd of semi toy grade solar lights. I have read some reviews about using different battery types, I don’t see those types atm… Which battery type is best? I know these aren’t ultra pocket powered quality lights, but it serves a purpose and gives me an excuse to get a new toy. I also get to keep it on for longer than a flashlight  Does anyone have any good or bad experience with a specific model?
Thanks,
John

hi,ridinon0,hi,in fact, now all the solar use Ni-MH battery.some chinese supplier in fact can provide the solar LED spotlight,it’s easy in fact.because we always just need replace the LED driver,so the spotlight can working in DC12V or DC24V,so it can powered by solar or wind.

My suggestion is to just go to a Home Depot or Lowe’s
and buy any thing they have. If you don’t like it; you have
90 days to get a full refund.
