What emitter do you plan on putting in it? If you're going with the xm-l, I suggest the third one above.

Of course XMl

thanx Match..

I grabbed 7 ad price angels at 2.20usd each smo reflector. Should be at home today. I'll let you know if youre interested.

No 1 and No 3 also check out the XP-E one .. I just enlarge the emitter hole for XM-L ....

I recieved the 7 from PA. 5 excellent ones with both springs included and 2 came pre-scrathed. Why two? Because the manufacturer forgot to insert only these two reflectors into a separate bag so the pill and springs had their freeride skiing on the inside of the reflector. Pretty it is not... RMA sent for 2 reflectors. :/ Getting some bad luck lately...

Hi Budeteer can you send me a link to those please ?

Also are there any better ones about ? i don't mind spending a bit more if it's better made.

While spending a little more is often a good idea, I think it may not be for these drop-ins. They more or less all seem to be about the same.

I suspect it's these - http://www.priceangels.com/26.5mm_Aluminum_Reflector_Drop-in_Module_Set_for_Flashlight_without_Emitter__p15634.html

Yep! The ones that were packaged right look decent to me.

Any new recommendations? (first 3 at the top are not found). Looking for a pill with plenty of metal, properly threaded for P60 use, room for a driver and holes to wire an emitter. For the size, someone could start making these out of silver and get _great_ thermal conductivity -- or brass at least -- though I think most are some aluminum alloy.

If you are searching the pill only, these are good:

I though I remember somebody at the CPF's talking about having some made for him, but then it all went very quiet ...

A challenge with making a generic P60 pill is that there is no standard, there is no official specification. Many companies make the P60 drop-ins, and all of them have slightly different tolerances, the overall length varies, the width varies, etc. - so not every P60 drop-in fits/works with every host that claims to support P60 drop-ins.

One way around this was what Elzetta lights did - they standarize their hosts to work with only the Malkoff P60 drop-ins. Maybe other P60 drop-ins will fit, but the hosts were designed to have a perfect fit with the Malkoff units.
