Coleman Max Bubba

Y'alls are gonna laugh at this, but someone posted about the Dorcy so you also have to check out the Coleman Max Bubba. Yes, that is really its name. $20 at Walmart.

167 ANSI lumens, it is powered by an XR-E and 6AA batteries.

The LED is set deep in a narrow reflector. This thing throws.

I was driving home the other nigh and stuck the light out my driver's window. With headlights on, and light focused about 100 feet ahead, you can see the hotspot on the road through both low and high beams.

The Coleman Bubba is made out of some type of plastic composite, and it is about the size of a traditional flashlight. Those who miss the location of the old-fashioned ON/Off button will like it, as the switch is on the side of the body just behind the head. The Coleman throws like the Dorcy, but the Dorcy is a very yellowish light, and the Coleman is a very pure white.

The Dorcy has an SMO reflector that is not as deep as the Coleman's LOP reflector.

If you see one in Walmart and can handle the size, you won't be disappointed with the throw.

I have to agree I have one it was around $20 at Walmart and it's a great thrower.

That’s not a bad looking light but 6AAs? Would run for a nice long time I would imagine.

Maybe fill it with glittery eneloops~

WALMART ?? are you serious ?? Do you really shop there ?

Isn't it Un-American to shop at wal-mart these days

......Maybe you missed this light in the lawn and garden section .....

Tongue out

Walmart is the fastest way to buy cheap Chinese goods without waiting for them in the mail!

And if you like that light above, you would love the showerhead drop-in for maglites on eBay...
