This is the BeamTech XM L-T6, bought for $ 37 (27 Euros) from DX
The body can not say anything negative, it is strong and is composed of a head that is screwed to the aluminum reflector, and the transfer of heat to the external structure is provided, the reflector is screwed the pill containing the driver and the LED emitter XM-L T6 version (hence the name of the torch) Browning. ... I do not know if it is true browning, for me it is painted, however, does not bother me.
It has five modes, three levels of light (+strobe +SOS) than is really so much light and despite the SMO reflector is almost a wall of light.
The body is composed of four modules, the walls are a good thickness, nothing to say on the threads, the tubes have their seal, but it involves turning two.
The reflector is smooth and even so the beam is flood with slight imperfections between spot and spill that disappear or fade in normal use after 5 meters from a white wall.
The thickness of the pipe is about 4 mm.
The LED is not perfectly centered, but this does not change the light.
If you want BeamTech shorter and practice, you can use it without the extension tube. In this case it works with 1X18650, or with 2Xrcr123a/16340 or 2XCR123a.
Beamshot:
Control shot
I made only a picture on the wall of the church in front of my house.
Pros:
For me it is a strong flashlight and emits the light that I hoped.
Cons:
Burnishing: For me it's painted, I do not care but I know that for many is a negative point.
Pill: missing the spring that is used to make ground contact (negative terminal)
Assembling the beezel: strangely with the dish securely screwed to the head, leaving the front glass beezel free to "play" the O-ring is present but not enough, it is as if space was available in glass for more than 3mm. I remedied by replacing the gasket with a thicker, I think that will replace the glass with a thicker, will gain in strength.
