Where to buy Solarforce l2p

I was wondering where you guys buy your l2p from, the 2 stores I look at are always sort of on the expensive side.

Thanks.

Solarforce sales
There pretty good with shipping times in comparison

Are there any bodies that is comparable to the l2p but cheaper in price? The L2p is really high quality, I was wondering i there other models are the same?

CRAZY fast shipping! Love that place

SolarForce L2N are a few dollars cheaper if you want that look. It’s HA II anodized and not HA III like the L2P.
The other option is Ultrafire’s P60 hosts, which are half the price, but their design and quality are not on the same tier as even the cheapest SolarForce.

Solarforceflashlight-sales , I’ve bought from them many times from single items to a couple of hundred dollars worth.
Always been reliable for me. Quick delivery and all for only $2 per order, not item.

I’m not anywhere near the experienced buyer that most are here, but from what I’ve seen, given the quality of what you get, the meager cost of the Solarforce hosts is well worth every penny paid.

That’s where I get all my hosts. They have a great reputation and FAST shipping.
+1 on the L2N and I love all my solarforces.

Those are not bad prices so you have to decide if you want lower quality for less money or more quality for more money

I consider quality worth more money, buying several low quality items usually does not save you money over 1 high quality one

I’ve never bought a complete flashlight from them
If you piece the parts together with there weekly or special sells you can make 2 lights for the price of one sometimes

This L2T is a great light, I got one, at a really good price at $22: solarforceflashlight-sales.com - L2T SS Tail. Comparable L2P is $29.

Maybe the 502B.

L2M is even cheaper, by a whole dollar or so.

These are much better quality IMO than those 502B’s.

I got both of them and the difference is not that much. Also the price on your link is for the host/body only.

Hi all,

I am thinking of getting the l2r, for use with aa batteries.

Do I have to buy a drop in from them, or can I build up my own? If I can build my own, can you please recommend some parts, is the dropin a standard p60 size? I was hoping to get something built for quite a bit cheaper, and with more output than their 320 lumen option…

Thanks

All the Solarforces are about the same level on quality. I've got 5 L2n bodies, a L2m, and a frankenstein L2 within arms reach. Also have another L2n that my dad has commandeered for the time being. The quality of all of them is great and would be hard to beat for the price. If you prefer the style of the L2p, but don't to fork over the cash for one then look at the "original" L2. The main differences are the stronger finish and tail cap on the L2p, but you can save $10+.

SFF-S is the place to buy. They are quick to ship, and the shipping is quick. Two orders and both arrived in 2 weeks or less. They are good at resolving issues, and usually quick to reply to contacts. Then there's the #1 reason to use them, they have the best prices and no matter what you order the shipping is only $2.

If you decide to use SFF-S be wary of the quantity discount and package deals. Not that they are bad products, but they aren't so good at discounting prices. Some of the packages deals are the same price if you bought the parts individually, not that it's a bad price either way. The quantity discounts can be crazy though. best example is their battery carrier. One for 1.99, not bad. Twenty for 59.80 which equals 2.99 per carrier, but it gets better. You can buy ten for special price 31.99, that's only 3.20 per carrier. So yeah if you see a package on there that you like check out the individual prices, you may end up spending less that way.

I ordered from SF on December 3rd and got the L2P Grey body and the holster on the 13th. All looks nice and in good shape.

I am giving this and a drop-in from Intl-Outdoor to my 15 year old son for Christmas. :santa:

Agree on the solarforce sales site, always works out well for me there. All 4 colors of L2P (Black, Gold, Grey, Blue), L2M shorty x2, M3 with L2P body, L2X extended, L2P lantern, M8, S2200, P1D, L2P extended…yep, works for me.

@Timanator - I haven’t seen this mentioned yet in the thread, so I’d better point it out: colored L2P hosts are much more expensive than black or grey. This forward-clicky version is currently the cheapest on their website at $16.99. That’s a lot less than the $24.99 price of the golden or blue forward-clicky L2P versions.

The L2P stands alone as an unbeatable value for a quality item in my opinion.
