Review Forum

What do you guys think about a “Review” forum? It could contain sub forums on flashlights, knives, batteries/chargers…

As it is, the admin has to sticky the great reviews found here or we have to use search function as it gets randomly posted in other forums and lost if not stickied. A pure review forum would be nice imo….

+1, I agree big time, would make things more organized and easier to find.

+100

agreed.

It could be done like in the battery forum, where there is a subforum for reviews.

the fastest way that I have found to find stuff here is google “budget light forum” and what light I need info on, it usually shows 4-6 different forums going on.

Yeah HKG. I meant a main review forum broken down into other sub forums on items of interest discussed there such as flashlights, battery/chargers, knives, others etc…

I just came to realise that this is what is lacking (imo again) on this forum when I wanted to start some research on a budget folding knife with lock that I might be buying soon.

I agree with MountainKing!

Especially given that not always Admin has time to move/notice new reviews and put them either into subforum or sticky them ;)!

But where would be the fun, if there’s everything served on a plate? :stuck_out_tongue:

Review forum all the way!

BudgetLightForum.com

...where Frugal meets with Flashlight!

Considering it it a flashlight forum, I would not entertain a section for knife reviews, or gun reviews, or bike reviews, etc. There are forums for that already and they are well established.

Its OK to get everything served on a plate, just dont give us any utensils and we will have plenty of fun

I agree, there is already a Gear for Flashlight Carriers section and it is easily found, hit Forum instead of Recent Posts, the info is in there “stickied” or not. Info on a particular knife, gun or whatever is easily found by searching.
It must be time consuming enough for Admin without extra sections to consider.

Well, a flashlight only review subforums would be nice and batteries/chargers (which we use in flashlights)…

Bumping this thread up :stuck_out_tongue:
