Nightlight Upgrade Help

Hello, new here. Had a good time reading the excellent reviews on here.

Looking to upgrade a very pathetic night light I have in the hallway. It runs on 240v mains, and has 5mm LED that puts out probably 1 lumen. I want to make it brighter in the simplest way possible, either by soldering a better LED into its place or some other simple cheap and effective way. What’s the best way to go about this guys?

Here is the guts.

At the bottom is a capacitor. I believe the blue and brown thing are tantalum capacitors. At front are diodes. I don't see how changing those would help.

Can you take more pictures? Some of the components aren't visible enough to identify.

I would only modify 240v items if I was VERY sure of my abilities!

Yes I shall get some more pictures if required. I’m not looking to ‘mod’ the whole circuit board, I was just thinking I could put a new LED in its place that would be a lot brighter but not overload the current board. Shouldn’t be toooo hard right?
