days ago on a store i have seen this laser flashlight, cool stuf for flashlight lovers but it was here on europe 360€
my question is can we built some like this with a zoomie host with a laser ?
ofcourse not the same quality i think but somethinks cool zoomy lasr sight flashlight .

It would be pretty easy. I've tied it myself by just holding an aspheric lens in front of a bare laser diode. Lasers actually use aspheric lens to focus the beam. The lens are designed to be much closer to the diode and to provide a much tighter focus then the ones we use in our lights.
I hope they are using a good IR filter on that product of theirs. Most green emitters use an IR emitter than convert the IR to green. IR can damage your eyes and is especially dangerous because you don't see it.
Also, a beam that concentrated is dangerous because it is probably at high enough concentration to do permanent damage relatively quickly.
Oh… So not only does IR/UV filters filter out their respective wavelengths, but they also convert it into useable light?
The IR filter goes after the conversion process to catch any escaping IR that didn't get converted.
