I’m looking for an RGB (WA)+UV light, like one of these
They are similar to widely available 3-in-1 RGB led par cans, but also have UV light and (if possible) white and/or amber.
The cheapest alternative I found is this one
Since I’m not familiar with buying things from AliExpress, do you guys have any idea if this is reliable or a scam?
I’ve heard some people have had very bad experiences buying from AliExpress, while others are very positive about it. Most of these products are of course cheap knock-offs, but I don’t really care about the brand as long as it works.
Other RGBWA+UV lights from non-chinese brands cost twice as much, or have only 3 leds instead of 12.
I would like to build them into some DJ furniture, so I was planning on taking apart the light, and divide the 12 6-in-1 leds over a larger area. Would it be cheaper to buy all components seperately? It looks like 12 LED’s + wireless DMX and some other basic built-in functions for 150 usd is a pretty good deal… At least if it’s reliable.
If you know any other good alternatives, please let me know.
I know this isn’t really BLF’s core business, but you guys know more about cheap lights than anyone else I know, so I hope some of you can help me.
