H006 has above average build at the price. However, WARSUN QC is bad... 2/3 units I bought, required attention and fixing (e.g re-soldering for wires, dead Q5). Apart from that, H006 is definitely a very interesting and fun model to own. I am looking forward for their next generation model. We do not mind paying more for solid/ integrated pill, tempered glass len, aluminium reflector and some heatsink fins.
Empty pill indeed. Thickness of the pill wall is 3mm. It may worth the attempt to mod the primary light (Q5 on 20mm star). Plastic reflector measured at 26mm x 16mm. There seem to be a aluminium replacement at KD when I last checked. Lens is measured at 26.8mm which is easy to source at FT.
The teardown convinced me, I’ll be buying one at some point relatively soon. Looks unique and useful for $10. The pill can be dealt with, and this light’s appeal is not as a power light anyway. Body tube internal diameter?
Just cycle through the 3 modes. White SMD > Red SMD > Primary Q5. There is not control of output level.

How did you like the side light?

I temporarily swapped it with my leftover XM-L T6, with some copper heat sink sticked underneath. Surprisingly, it produced decent amount of light with 1A. I will revisit the mod process if I am ordering the glass lens and reflector. I do hope that there is a further upgraded version that do not requires much mod.

Doubt it will survive heavy rain in stock. Too many gaps due to the strip light design, although there are o-rings protecting it.
Thank You!
I asked because the non protected 65 mm, but the protected 69,7 m long
I have just protected batteries, no need to buy another non protected battery
