1 year after joining I finally bought a light and a charger. I bought the solid Zeusray for 7.99. Sold me after a great review by likevvi. I am wanting to get another and like the Convoy lights (c8, M2, S3). I don’t know which one would be a good compliment to the Zeusray. Any help would be appreciated.

go ahead and get yourself some batteries, then get out while u have your sanity, and some savings left. If you get a 2nd light one day you’ll be getting your 50th light and it won’t make sense. Zeusray is a good light. If you stick around you WILL spend lots more on lights that won’t perform any better than your Zeusray, yes, they will be prettier 
You’ve been warned. If u think you’re too level headed, or logical, it won’t matter. I’m way logical and now have over 40 lights! For what?

convoy m1 and/or XinTD C8 . I just put together an m1 with qlite driver and xml2 t6-3c for father in law and now I don’t wanna give it to him for Xmas so I’m gonna have to get one. save yourself the hassle and skip
the cheapie 18650’s. a good battery with protection can be had for $10
Better watch out, once you buy another light, your wallet suddenly might be empty. I said to myself one day, "I'm just gonna get another S2 and call it a day". NOPE. I ended up buying another S2, two BLF SE-X6's, two Convoy C8s, two SK98s. I also bought a plethora of parts to mod and service those lights as well as eyeing that Zeusray as well the red S2 Simon made a thread about...

If I get this c8 to go with the zeussray I have, do I want the XP-g2 more thrower version? I originally thought about the XM-L2 but don’t understand how close it will be to the zeussray and want a variety. On further thought, it seems like the XINTD is a do everything light. If so I want the XM-L2. There is so much I don’t know.
How big an every day carry do you want? The Zeusray will do about everything when it is in your hand, but it is a bit large for a pocket, except at night. The C8 I have is beautifully made but it is bigger and heavier. How about an Inova Micro Light http://www.niteize.com/product/INOVA-Microlight.asp, or a Tank007 AAA light? Then there are the SK-58 and the TrustFire Mini 01. Between that and the Zeusray, there are some more compact 18650 lights.
I use my keychain light to supplement indoor lighting when I want to see something clearly.
ya it kinda depends on if you are going to pocket it. I edc’d a pd30 for 5 yrs but switched to a convoy s2 host with an xmL2 since it uses 18650 batteries. there is also a smo reflector for it now (in simon’s site). a light that is in between the c8
and s2 is the convoy m1. it definitely throws better than the regular s2—- I just put one together as a gift and really want one now. it could be pocketed too but if put a clip on it. the c8 should throw more since it has a smooth reflector. if your looking for a dedicated thrower, then you probably need to look at the xpg2 LEDs —less lumens but more throw… that is one reason many people including myself buy a host then build it to meet a criteria
I like the idea of getting an s2 for taking the dog for a walk or m1. I understand they are more flood like. I originally thought a thrower would be cool but can’t think of how I could use it. More novelty I guess m
