Eneloops as stocking stuffer means.....

…. I’m in the market for an 8xAA light. Haha. The craziness never stops!!

So my wife let the cat out of the bag and now I know she’ll be slipping a pack of eneloops into my stocking for Christmas. Which means I want to see if there’s an 8AA light out there in the budget market. I have seen lights like the TK41 and the Eagletac SX25A6 (6AA), but those sit a bit over my price range. Anyone seen something under $50? Under $40 would be even better! Gotta love the wife for feeding the flashlight frenzy!

I’d go with Wight’s conversion kit for the Lux-Pro 2D. Seems like a very fun use of those cells.

Get 2 Starry Light SA-22 !

Already got one Starry Light and I’m very happy with it, but getting duplicates of lights just isn’t something I want to do…………… yet.

I might end up looking into the 4AA pop can format again, but I’d really like to see what 8AAs can do at once. A multi-emitter 8AA would be a dream light right now….

Nothing really budget that I know of. Nitecore EA8, EAX, and EA41,SWM d40A for 4xAA. as i recall the tk41 can actually run off only 4 cells, so some of these might be wired as 4s2p.
