Low voltage drop in problem

I have a solarforce low voltage (0.8-4.2v) 3 mode drop in which I use in my L2m, been using 1xAA and 1x14500 depending on need. After a camping trip it just won't work anymore in a single AA but still works fine on 14500. Is there any way to fix this?

I think not. The driver must have burnt out. This happens a lot.

At least it works with 14500

Thanks, I guess I'll just use this on my L2.
