Where to get the small springs found on Nanjg drivers?

I’m designing a driver, and am tight for space so I want to go with a small spring. I’ll be bypassing the spring with a wire soldered to a via under the spring, so I just need a small spring like the ones from Nanjg drivers. The springs sold on the sites I’ve been looking at are wider, and searching for springs on E-bay yields too many search results to go through (probably not using good search terms). Does anyone have a link to them? Or a whole bunch of them to sell?

Thanks, but I didn’t find those Nanjg springs. They’re smaller than the ones you linked too. Sure I could cut ‘em up, but would prefer not to have to do that.

How about a brass pillar the size of the spring? The spring does not compress much anyway and the pillar has a lot less resistance (and looks better Smile )

Yeah, I’ve thought about that… would work… but thought I’d first ask if anyone knows if I can get the springs. Would be the easiest solution as it’s not just with one or two lights I’ll be doing this.

I have also been unable to find them. I’ve looked several times. Recently I thought that I remembered finding them in the past, but could not remember where. It was probably a false memory.

I’ve never been able to find them on their own but one day I was able to purchase 40 of them from RMM here (that he pulled off and saved up), maybe you can get on that notification list or just ask him directly. I would offer some of mine but that was a while ago and I’ve went threw them…

If you find an actual source please post it, I need more too!

If everyone on here donated their unused nanjg springs I’m sure you could fill a bathtub with the things! Wink

I have the same problem, the IO springs are too big in base diameter (except the very small one which is only 2.5mm high - might be insufficient, will try).

The “F” spring is a bit short but might work in conjunction with a pillar.

Three Tanna leaves to give him life, nine to give him movement. But what if he eats the whole bag?

Qlite spring from MtnE.

Edit- note that these are longer than springs sold on most other 105 C drivers.

Cool! Your MCUs will be in my hands tomorrow, got the slip today.

I’ve got some of those F springs on the way already. Will see how useful they can be, but appear slightly wider.

Longer doesn’t matter, as long as they’re not wider. They’re out of stock so I’ve entered my email address under “notify me”. Thanks for the tip.

These springs might actually be the closest thing yet. Going to order some and find out. Thanks for the tip.

I’ve got a few. Probably 10-20 or so. If I can find them they are yours.

Just pm me your address and I’ll send them out tomorrow after I gather them up.
