The UI , buttons and LED indicators look very similar to the Fandyfire Warrior.
Same concept but
- without metal plate
- smaller LEDs
- different button arrangement
- buttons do not protrude as high as FandyFire
- MTS is in black

I like the design, but, that solution with 2 buttons and battery indicator makes is significantly harder, maybe even impossible to swop the driver. If you want to increase the amperage and genuine driver does not allow that you either lose batt.indicator or you are stuck with factory modes and amps…
True, if you want keep the LED status function, you probably want to keep the driver as stock. Regular mods like spring by-pass, dedome, LED and MCPCB upgrade will help a little if you choose the mod path.
80% of my collections are based on single tail clicky switch right now. You rarely see any decent looking model with such functions and form factor. That is probably why it maybe worth collecting.
Anyway, if the response is good for MTS. They may consider bringing more newer model like DXM-1200, Palight STAR.
Based on china’s website, the UI is a follows:
Big button is “tactical” switch, press for momentary on. If you hold for 2 seconds, it will be in permanent “on” state. At this stage, you will be in customised mode - if you press and hold the small button, the light will start ramping ; let go of small button when your desired light level is reached and it will be memorised. Press the big button again and it will go into Hi mode. Press again and it will be off. Tap the small button twice to go into strobe mode. Press again to go into SOS. Pressing one more time will exit blinkes modes.
It is actually quite similar to the warrior’s UI.

So that big button turns it on the highest mode no matter what mode u left it off at right?
And I do like the fact that it stays permanent on high after 2 sec.
But some might find the momentary useless now. Because 2 sec is not very long.
Correction. The first mode after you turn on (after holding big button for 2 sec) is the customised mode. Pressing the big button again will be in the Hi mode. I supposed you can set the customised mode at same level as Hi or slightly lower.
At least that’s what I interpreted from the website. Have been eyeing this for a while since I saw it on Taobao. But it still cost around US$23 even from China so I am waiting for a GB to happen here.

Water-resistance: IPX-3!!!
You need to add this to a con and a WARNING! I mean, that’s real weak in the days and times $10 flashlights have ipx-8 water protection.
IPX-3 (cannot submerge in water) is low in standard but at least they are honest about it. I suspect is the blue rubber buttons that will be giving the problem. If it very hard to fully waterproof it as there are too many small openings in the head. Unless they do a complete seal with adhesive or something.
