Decided to get one to play with since the Uniquefire HS-802 DX sent to me isn't working - the pill is loose, and the head is glued so I can't get to the thing to tighten it.

I have no luck with throwers from DX

The price propably won't last too long now.. Smile

Edit: Does it have a glass lens and aluminum reflector?

The Uniquefire or the MRV?

The Uniquefire has a metal reflector and a coated glass lens.

After a couple of hours of work, I've finally got the pill out and now have the body in boiling water to see if it'll soften the glue enough to get the head off.

One user loosen it using long tweezers, supporting in the holes for the wires.

I hope you serve for something.

P.D: Fact, that price will not last long ... Hurry up! Laughing

Edit: This has metal reflector also, but plastic len.

Don't they have this at Focalprice too with free shipping?  Wsdeal seems to be the wholesale arm of Focalprice.

@XRAYBoY: Maybe change the link above (ws-deal) to plain text so they won't see lots of guys coming from here...?

Done.  But I wouldn't be surprised if they simply refuse to ship it at that price if they realize the error.  Or maybe it's not an error?

Can you get just one...all we have bought well.No problem.

In fact, they can not refuse to send until they change the price. It would be misleading and may be reported to Paypal.

If is a mistake , the buyer has no fault.

(Fortunately or unfortunately, I have experience in this with other stores for the same reasons)

Bought. Thank you very much for the tip!

Yup, WSdeal = Focalprice. Paypal confirmation:

"Szanowny Użytkowniku!

Price has now gone up to $14.43 and they have acknowledged the mistake.
Will have to see if they honour current orders.

They'd better do. Does anybody know if seller is obliged to sell the item if it was paid by Paypal?

My order is still there - says "Awaiting Shipment" which is probably much the same as DX's "Ready".

We'll see...

I ordered 2 of them yesterday and paid via paypal.  I just now checked the paypal receipt and the price charged to me was still $5.10 each but it was under FocalPrice Inc. instead of WSdeal.  It's still in the "Awaiting Shipment" order status.

I guess some of us got lucky when we got them for $5.10 but until we actually get the lights, we can't really say that we got a bargain.  Cash

Now up to Hong Kong Post and the Royal Fail (oops Mail). Not in the HK Post system yet - it often takes a day or two.

WSDeal seem to be having problems just now - very slow to load, and the database denies I exist. Probably be fine when someone gives the server a good kicking.

I just got an email from WSdeal that my order has been shipped.  Now we'll see how long it actually takes to get here.

Thanks XrayBoy!

I got in before the price increase. Since they gave me a small price break at 10 or more lights, I decided to go ahead and purchase 10. Surprisingly, EMS shipping was the cheapest method of shipment. Total with shipping came to $79.70 US... or $7.97 per light. This should keep me busy with mod hosts for a good long while and allow me to toss a few to my friends... and turn those poor suckers into flashaholics! Now to see if they actually ship my order or cancel it.

Not deserve.
Now I have this flashlight with XP-G R5 and remains a powerful thrower.

I soldered the LED with flat welds as possible and I cut the plastic from the wires over.

The reflector I hit a couple of strips of cello to isolate and remove the protective of the power led,
with the intention that the reflector down as much as possible and put his R5.

It is still amazing what concentrated.Little change projection. The spot will have grown by 30% approx.

The XPG upgrade looks great. How far away was the light from the wall when you took the pics?

Arround 2 meters.

At much greater distance (about 20 meters) does not concentrate as much as a XRE, but still very bright.

With a XRE its a awesome thrower. Maybe even too much for my use.

Im waiting for a DX driver that puts (with a little work) the XPG at 1400mA. Will see if holds.
