did anyone notice that Kaidomain is selling Variety of XHP50s on copper stars?
I think i am going to order a few especially since other places don’t offer 3000k on a copper star.

I don't know if they are Direct to Copper. Some of the previous KD stars were copper base, but not direct to copper. They might be fine, but until someone gets to reflow a couple off the stars, it would be questionable, to me.

They look like solid copper stars for xpl. Go to KD and search XHP50. See for your self. Maybe ill order a 6500k cause it’s only $8 atleast if it’s not copper I’m not out a lot of money.

I’m sure it is copper, but what OL is saying is that it’s not DTP

Direct thermal path. It makes more of a difference than copper does. As far as I know, Noctigon, Sinkpad, and Maxtoch are the only makers of DTP mcpcb’s.
