The beam shots speak for themselves. I put this truly budget build up against some of my “Big Dogs” and this little mag mod really holds it’s own. I am impressed by Brian’s neatness, professionalism, and attention to detail. He did an outstanding job on this first generation LED Maglite I sent him and I can’t wait to send him another.
I have to go to work early this morning. I stayed up last night trying to make the pics come up. I will work on it again this afternoon. I always use tiny pic with success on all the other forums I belong too. Stay tuned!
Thanks dchomak for helping me out with the photos. I am still a work in progress when it comes to night time photography. I will continue to play with postimage so far it seems a bit mor intuitive than tinypic, I just need more practice.
Furthermore, Crappy I-Phone 6 photos do not really do any of these lights any true justice. All of these lights are phenomenal in there own way. But this budget build Maglite Maglite for the price is hard to beat. It must be really pulling some amps and cranking out some serious lumens as it does get warm rather quickly on turbo. However, on hi heat does not appear to be an issue. This light is TN36 like but with more throw. The color temp is pleasing although not quite as warm as my PDT. Maybe the biggest surprise is the beam profile. I do not consider myself to be a white wall hunter snob, but I can’t stand a ringy, messy beam. This Maglite’s profile is gorgeous. Brian did an outstanding job on reflector selection. Once again kudos to Brian and this forum!
