Just a note that if the OP got the MPP package w/ the L2i, he'll also need a L2 tailcap.

It's a clone but pretty good quality. Another interesting idea is that you can use a L2r w/ 2 lith cells.

It's a clone of a L2 to the point of exactly interchangeable parts, so AAA's won't fit in it. But it all screws together so you can sill use the L2i whenever you need.

Definitely use 2 cells for this light. In the photos there is a visible increase in intensity, so does the lux meter.

Not a lot though and not exactly visible in real life, but hey we are flashaholics.
