I saw that bestofferbuy.com has the light going for $3.50 with free shipping. Most other places seem to have the light going for $12-20. Has anyone used this light or other lights by the same brand? If so, should I expect a $3.50 light, or have I found a deal?

It's a chinese emitter like a powerlight or a blf Delight,horrible tint ,terrible threads, bad light.
Don't waste your money .You won't be impressed .
