2 mode driver for led stripes under the kitchen cabinets?

Hi,

I have only found drivers on/off, or rgb with pilot to set all the parameters, colours and brightness.

But I would like something like IKEA has - switch with 2 modes: dimmed to 10-30% (so it could be on as a backgorund light), or 100% - for cooking.
Do you know if I can find any driver like that “ready to go”, just plug in and use?

I’m not sure if this is the right forum… I hope so

Why stick at two modes? or mess about with drivers, as you said you want something quick and easy.
Just use a readily available dimmer switch from your local electrical wholesalers or DIY store, easy to install and you can set whatever brightness you want

Just make sure that your dimmer and your LED strip are compatible with each other.

I just found (and started a new thread about) a combined dimmer-and-driver with a preset — so you can set a desired level, or zoom the whole range.

See if that’s likely to solve the problem you’re looking for.
