Yep, I thought it was just my work computer.
504s are almost never caused by issues on the receiving end. Something bad is going on with whoever hosts this site.
I thought my raspberry pi B+ died on me as it serves as a mini proxy, then I realized BLF is very slow
it says gateway timeout…
so i hope its just some issue in the serverfarm .
(i was afraid someone cut the transatlantic cables)

Yep, the BLF is slow today for me, too. But, even more strange is this. I just logged in and saw this new thread at the top of the Recent Posts page. And, it had 12 replies, with 13 being new (unread) replies. 
Slow here, 502/504 all the time.
