i don’t know, but i thought an IMR battery would deliver more amps than this
i can’t post a chart of the mkne IMR 26650.
i’m gonna look at it if i can find it.
am i reading this right ?
internal resistance is .07 ohms ??
looks like old mkne 3500 imr outperform these from 10 amps on up to 30
They certainly aren’t ultra high performance cells, but they seem like a decent deal between maximum 26650 capacity and decent performance. Better than all other 5xxxmAh cells in the comparator that I could find.
Many brands and re-wrappers misuse the term “IMR” and they employ that word simply because so many people associate it it with “high discharge”, even when the battery chemistry is not LiMn2O4. I don’t know where or when did that begin but since a couple years ago people started looking specifically for “IMR batteries” because they think that means the cell will perform better. I believe AW had something to do with that because they pushed hard on the marketing for true IMR batteries, causing other brands to copy the strategy but with non-IMR cells.
Perfect! I have been looking at the Efest purple 4200 mah 35/50 amp, IMREN 5500 22/60 amp and the Keeppower 5200 20/30 amp batteries and wondering which one to pick. Hard when the L6 is my first 26650 flashlight and I know crap about these batteries. The Keeppower 5200’s it is Thank you PineChaos!
Thanks Just bought a set of these, IMREN IMR 26650 HIGH DRAIN 60A BATTERY 3.7v Rechargeable Li-MN 5500mAh. I’ll give them a try. Got two more 26650 flashlights in the mail. I will definitely give the LiitoKala a try. I can always use more batteries, Thank you Barkuti The only 26650 batteries I have right now are the Soshine 5500’s and my L6 seems to suck them down fairly fast.
