30% OFF Tank007 UV Flashlight Christmas Discounts

Tank007 new offer big discounts on UV flashlights, Limited time discount: 30% off

Looks like the UV light price range before discount is $72.00 to $390.99 US.

I think they need to seriously re-think their prices. When you can buy the Convoy S2+UV with a 365nm Nichia for less than $20, these prices are crazy.

I agree. Who would spend that much money on a UV light that you use… a couple times a week?

As is known to all, you get what you pay for. I think products that cost 1 dollars are definitely different from that cost 10 dollars. iPhone is a smartphone, and HUAWEI P8 is also a smartphone, they are different and so the prices differs.

These have been sold previously through approved distributors for far less than the asking price here.
Why has the price increased so much?

So, the Tank007 UVTK566 from your store is $72.

We are a budget-minded group here, with the capacity to recognize a good deal.

Without looking very hard, I can find quality alternatives:

The Jaxman 365nm light, which includes a UV pass lens, for $24.

Another quality option, the Convoy S2; again, 365nm, and only $14.

As in the last time you posted here, your store’s “Sale” prices are extremely high compared to normal prices at alternative sellers. Example, your previous offer to match other retailers’ single-unit pricing FOR THE EXACT SAME LIGHT if I purchased 50+ units of a particular light from you. While maintaining a “sale” price double the normal price from other reputable sellers.

Quality in a product is important.
But you seem to overlook that this is “Budget” Light Forum.

Hi Jessica, thusfar I do not agree. But perhaps you can explain the price of Tank007 UV-flashlights a bit better to convince me?

Over here we know a thing or two about UV-flashlights and UV-leds. And from what we know, the Nichia 276A 365nm led is one of the best UV-leds around and the Convoy S2+ is a good quality flashlight. The S2+ flashlight with 276A 365nm led is 25.67 dollar, free shipping.

So the chance that the Tank007 with an unknown 365nm led (your website only states that it is made in Japan for the flashlight on offer in your post above, I hope Nichia, which one is it?) for 3 times that price performs 3 times as well is very unlikely. That mysterious and apparenty very expensive japanese led must then be way better than the Nichia 276A led?

So IMO no, you do not get what you pay for anymore, Tank007 used to be the only flashlight builder with ok performing UV-flashlights under 50 dollars, but now that recently very good quality UV-leds are available for cheap, others make UV-flashlights that perform better for lower prices.

Hi, guys. A UV flashlight’s value is not only determined by the LED or chip you said here. The reflector and other manufacturing technology also count. Tank007 UV flashlights do not deliver any dark point in the light, that’s why the flashlight is much expensive.

You get what you pay for! You can choose not to purchase expensive items if the function is not necessary to you, and you do not need that good quality at all.

This sounds a like a procurement manager who says: I buy the most expensive shit there is, just to cover my own a…

Maybe, when you pay more, you have the right to expect a better quality.
That’s a decision you have to make on your own. And maybe the procurement-manager is a lonely guy.
And maybe nobody supports him when he says: well, considering the options on the market, I made my own UV-light.

But this is a budgetlight forum, with lots of members who are more than willing to help when you have a question. Who are always alert on new things on the market. Who perform comprehensive tests. Who compare various UV-emitters (like djozz and others have done). So you just can’t say the mantra “You get what you pay for” and not mention the brand of your emitter. When it is this very emitter that is paramount for the quality of your UV-flashlight.

From my own experience, I can recommend Tank007 when you want a flashlight with a good price/quality-ratio.
But the prices of these UV-lights are such, that it raises questions. And to answer these questions with such a mantra is almost condescending.

Just my 2c.

Jessica Smith, Manafont was selling these for what price ?

Sorry, I do not know. I cannot find their site now.

They no longer exist, yet they were selling these same torches, yes Tank007 branded, so supplied by YOU, for under $30 and at one stage even under $20!
This is why you’re not selling your stock.
Greed.
