Hey Guys, this was one of my first Cree's and the start of my fetish that now is torches which I use regularly for hunting etc.
While I was playing around with it and pulling it to pieces I rubbed/wore the reflective surface off the reflector and now it is useless as a thrower.
Does anyone know where you can get a replacement reflector for it from? Or, as I suspect if you can not get one, does anyone know of a good mod, or unit that can be retrofitted?

What's the size of that reflector? DX has several reflectors.
The head is 54-55mm?
From my measurements it is 50mm in diameter and 45mm in length. The top has a bit of a lip on it where it essentially sits on the end of the ali housing and then the end cap tightens over it.
I have had a good look on DX and other sites but have not found one so any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you'll find one. But good luck, anyway.
Here's an idea if not. Black out the reflector and grab an aspheric lens for it, which should be easier to find. Then you will have one heck of a thrower again.
hmm, done that. I have a aspheric lens for it but it seems that the focal length is not right as I would need to grind the lens down to get it close enough to the led to get it to focus, then I would not be able to get the light to seal.
What a shame.
