Has anyone bought a replacement battery for a Nexus 4 (E960)

I’ve looked on Aliexpress & there are many dealers selling a BL-T5 battery for a Nexus 4 - with the usual claims.
Can anyone who has bought a good battery recommend a dealer.
Thanks.

Cheaper Chinese batteries I’ve purchased for Palm Pilots, cameras, and cell phones have almost universally been 3/4 of claimed spec (when the spec was not stupidly high), to 40-50%. I’ve even gotten a few duds/dead. Fortunately those were replaced with documentation.

Ebay and Amazon reviews are almost useless, not quantitative at all. They stick them in and generally are either happy or very unhappy with their purely subjective results. These are the same people that think Ultrafire batteries are neat.

@flydiver Thanks for your comments. I agree with what you said.
I also tend to stay away Dealers on Ebay. The are almost all China based & offer very nice sounding warranties, 1 or 2 years on their products. However when trying to claim for an item that has failed after a number of months, within the warranty period, it is impossible to get any help. They always want you to return item to China & pay the postage. Postage from Australia & most countries, to China is very expensive. Sometimes the same price as a new item. Ebay is useless & offers no assistance to the buyer in these circumstances. I guess as long as the dealer is paying money to ebay we know on whose side they are.
Ebay is still great fun for private auctions.
I’ve had some good experiences with Aliexpress. I think as long as I understand the inflated specs I would prefer to deal with a dealer via Aliexpress. The batteries may not be up to the original specs but they are cheap.

I’ve not dealt with Ali directly as they won’t take Paypal from WA state for some reason, so it’s eBay or Amazon. Amazon is simply a channel from a secondary source most of the time for items like that but they do give some assurances from problems.

I’ve even tried batteries that were ‘under spec’ on a vain hope that at least those would come up to the modest spec……nope.
But, as you say, they are cheap, often 1/5 the cost of the original. OTOH, I’ve had some originals that had 2 years of constant use that came out better than a brand new cheap Chinese. And you KNOW that (name the brand) is sourcing them from somewhere over there. They certainly are not making them. Now, if we could only access the source. Maybe we are getting all the rejects.
